Hey, I'm Samantha-

this is my story.

 A 6 year old girl spending hours rummaging through boxes of my parents childhood photos. Reminiscing on all of mine and my sisters photos from our younger years together.

A 10 year old girl directing her younger sister to pose for photos at any chance she could get on disposable cameras. Much to her dismay.

At 14, saving pocket money with girl friends to head to the local chemist to the instant photo booth. Printing dozens of photos to swap and share and stick in our wallets.

At 16, taking my Mums film camera to school and spending hours making photo albums and photo collages for friends.

At 18 years old, receiving a fancy digital camera for my birthday. Literally taking it in everywhere, to capture every moment. This continued right through my 20's. My friends and family never bothered taking pictures- they knew i had it covered for all of us.

At 27 I became a Mum and thus a new journey began. Taking pictures took on a whole new meaning. The value of an image became priceless. Time and memories you will never get back.

I have had a lifelong passion, or some may have described it over the years as "obsession" with capturing all of life's moments. Whether it is the daily mundane or those big life milestones. Life is worth being documented, so let me come along on this journey with you.
